Estimate equal month-end withdrawals that exhaust an entered balance over a selected number of months at a constant nominal annual rate. This is not an insurer quote.
These are finite mathematical accumulation or withdrawal scenarios using a constant nonnegative nominal annual rate compounded monthly. They do not price an insurance contract, lifetime income, mortality, beneficiary benefits or guarantees. Taxes, fees, inflation, surrender charges and changing returns are excluded. An actual annuity depends on its contract and insurer.
Choose 1 to 600 whole monthly payments. The first withdrawal is after one month of growth; equal withdrawals continue at month end and exhaust the modeled balance after the last payment. Zero interest divides the opening balance by the payment count. The annualized subtitle is the monthly amount multiplied by 12, even when the selected period is shorter than a year. No intermediate withdrawal rounding is assumed.
