Model recurring crypto purchases with an entered price path or a smooth return scenario, purchase timing and fees.
USD amounts; fractional coins allowed. Initial deposit is purchased at time zero. There are 52, 12 or 1 equal periods per year; no calendar dates or live market data.
Smooth mode starts at an illustrative price of 100 USD and applies the entered effective annual price return. It is a hypothetical path, not a forecast or historical backtest. Manual mode uses only the entered prices.
The percentage fee is deducted from each gross deposit, including the initial purchase. Average cost is gross funding divided by coins, including these purchase fees. Final value is unsold holdings; sale fees, spreads, taxes, staking and interest on waiting cash are excluded.
Calculations retain unrounded values; displayed amounts round half up to cents. Tiny nonzero amounts use scientific notation. Coin sums remain exact while denominators are short; larger sums retain 50 significant decimal digits. Ambiguous cent rounding is marked unavailable; smooth growth is a numerical approximation; separately rounded rows may differ from rounded totals. A gain or ROI below reliable numerical precision is marked unavailable.
DCA does not guarantee profit or protect against losses. The assumed return and entered prices are scenarios; actual crypto prices and fees can differ.
